I’m going to speak my mind, so this won’t take very long.
There are thousands of ways to impact the world positively:
- Be friendly to neighbour ( Hey Claus, let me help with that bag )
- Write a thank you note ( did I tell how much you rock ? No ? Well, let me tell you how much you rock !)
- Make people feel good on a party ( introduce the outsider to the circle )
- Invite someone to dinner ( today, it’s all on me !)
- be an exceptional good lover ( Babe, heaven will be a dump after I have finished making love to you !)
All of them are awesome ways to epic-fy your surroundings, but nothing, NOTHING is as impactful as
creating your own business.
And not just any business – a small business that’s connected to the digital world in one way or another.
Some people say you have to build a gigantic corporation a la Facebook to change the world, but I say that’s bullshit. Look at Corbett Barr, his rocking two blogs , and look how many lives he’s changing around the world. Epicness doesn’t come from the size of your work, but from the intensity you put into it. A very small biz with endless fire inside can have more impact that a faceless corporation. And that’s awesome. Fucking awesome !
With the right message you can reach thousands of people – impacting the world in ways our ancestors have never dreamt of.
By just following the simple principle of offering kick-ass value the most unique way possible, your actions will have more impact than a 44 Magnum aimed at a pumpkin.
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom !
Many people are afraid of just taking the beast by the horns and going for the ride – so was I.
I was scared.
In fact, I was scared shitless.
My little voice kept punishing me with downward talk – you are going to fail, you can’t do it, no way you will pull this one of…
Nasty words with no real backup. Bullets made of hot air trying to pierce through your body, but instead “just” causing itches. Bang bang in your mind. And in your mind only.
Here’s what I experienced:
Once you decide you are in for the action, you just jump into it. With arms wide open.
You know what happens you run into a situation where you don’t know the outcome ?
Your brain will find a way to make it work. It’s not a cheap ass quote I copied from some self-help blog, it’s evidence now. I had crazy thoughts about failing (and even starving to death!) and now I just laugh at them. If you live in the western part of the world, the chances of becoming homeless (because you’re creating your own career) are slim to none. I know one or two lazy and stupid people, and even those douchebags manage to survive. Sometimes I wonder how they do it, but the good news is: If a brain fried retard doing nothing all day can manage to survive, then a hungry and passionate soul like you will manage that too :)
Easily.
I used to work for other people, and it sucked. Sometimes, I had really cool ideas and methods, but I couldn’t act on them because they weren’t “appropriate”. Working for someone else ALWAYS means limiting your potential – you have to adapt to your environment instead of adapting the environment to yourself. You may have wicked ideas, a cool concept or “just” a cool way of helping people , but if your true style doesn’t fit your job surrounding you are toasted. You’re like a kick-ass angel wanting to ascend like a rocket, but having his wings chained to the ground.
I thought having sex is the best feeling in the world, but that’s not the case anymore.
When I coach people, or help a small biz in the offline world, I almost get an orgasm just because I can bring my whole, raw and uncensored personality into the game. No more asking for permission – it’s YOU, the person you help, and endless magic in between.
My presence is expanding, my knowledge is deepening, and I’m helping more and more people every new week. I can see that their life changes through my actions, and witnessing that is the most E-P-I-C feeling ever !
Happiness and positive change doesn’t come from sitting on your ass in some remote place and meditating about yin and yang, it comes from doing ACTION that’s 100% aligned with your style.
Like building a small online biz that’s impacting your world :)
If you still have a 9 to 5 job, seriously think about starting your own little online biz. Find your why, and start hustling. 1 – 2 hours a day is enough for doing some serious damage.
Go. Make it happen. NOW !
And share this important message with the people you care about !
