You may know me, I’m the host of “The Thunder Show” -The coolest wine show in the galaxy !

And yes, I’m not just the frickin’ Wine Guy, I actually have a real business !

But hey…

This is not about me, this is about you !

Too many people are wasting their life doing a job they hate, and I’m going to change that. After you finished reading this post, you’ll have all the tools you need to really, really crush it !

Listen, I don’t want to say it, but I really am the coolest guy on this planet.

People always ask me – Gary, what’s your secret ?

And I always say it’s my DNA.

My writing sucks, thanks mom, I know that. But hey, thank God there’s video. Some people pee in their pants when they see a video cam – not ME -– put the lights on me and I shine !

I was born to do that. And you know why people love me ? Because I am 100% authentic – I’m the real thing ! Sure, some people hate my guts, but I can live with that.

No one can copy me. You can’t. Your mother can’t. Try to compete with me and I smoke you out of the water. Try to compete with and I will destroy you.

But hey, there are plenty of other niches you can dominate.

Open your ears and listen to me

Listen, writing is cheap. I’d love to video blog this post, but my little Misha toilet-flushed my Flip Cam and now I have to write this stuff. I don’t care. I’m a Vaynerchuk !

Anyway, here are some tips you really need to crush it:

• You are your own brand. It’s not an option, it’s a necessity now. People want to work with real people.
• Passion. I know it’s so cliche, but it’s really about passion. Breath your passion and you’ll be able to work 17 hours a day, just like me !
• Care. Care a lot ! I mean it. Answer every comment, every email, and every blackmail for the rest of your frickin’ life ! Go into every forum you can get your smelly hands on and do the work: Help, answer, help and so on. Build reeal relationships !
• Be authentic and real. Give me your RAW side. Don’t try to be perfect; we’re sick of that. Write like you talk, don’t worry about the mistakes. Don’t ever edit yourself. Make a video blog and show me your little kid throwing up on that cashmere carpet. NICE ! It’s raw and it’s human.
• Choose your medium carefully ! Not everyone can be a son of gun like me. Give me a frickin’ Flip Cam and I’ll blow you away with my awesomeness. Video is my domain, that’s where I shine. But that may not be true for you. Maybe you’re a 28 old geek still living with your mom. Cool. Then write a blog with all your geekness. Podcast, video, writing – whatever. Choose whatever fits you 100% and dominate it !
• Trust your instincts. Seriously, the online world is full of that analytics and SEO crap. I don’t give a sh%t about it, I just follow my guts. Produce content that’s straight from your heart, and people will find you.
• Serve your community. Listen, you can have a triple-sized ego like me and still help your audience – I don’t know how, but it works. Just tweet a message like “What can I do for you ?”

Listen, don’t start whining now : Gary, this is so hard, I have a day job, what about my family ?

Stop crying and start hustling ! Ladies, we’re building a BUSINESS here. Go home,

spend 10 minutes with your family (remember: family first!) and then work your face off !

If you don’t hustle every single second, you’re toast ! Some douchebag like Mars Dorian will out-hustle you and he’s going to kill it.

If you have a day job then forget about sleeping. 8 hours after your work is plenty of time to do some serious damage.
